A dialog between geopolitics and cinema with directors, actors, journalists such as Claire Simon, Tony Gatlif, Radu Mihaileanu, Hiner Saleem, Michel Kichka, Florence Aubenas, Rithy Panh, Costa Gavras and Pierre Haski. The webdoc was realised by Joseph Beauregard, with interviews by Pascal Mouneyres, in the frame of the digital development dpt. of the Forum des images directed by Michaël Swierczynski.

Ten historians from 10 countries give a brief history of the first world war through a global lens. Using original news reports, interactive maps and rarely-seen footage, including extraordinary scenes of troops crossing Mesopotamia on camels and Italian soldiers fighting high up in the Alps, the half-hour film explores the war and its effects from many different perspectives.
Polar Sea 360°

Polar Sea traces the journey of three men through the Arctic Ocean, and the Northwest Passage in particular, from Reykjavik, Iceland, to the Aleutian Islands of Alaska. Sailing in the Dax, the men observe and reflect on the changing climactic conditions in the region and the effects on the territory and the natives.
The ten episodes explain the history of the native Inuits, the local culture, hunting, music, climate problems and scientific research.
The engrossing interactive aspect of the documentary gives the viewer the opportunity to dip into the polar seas and move around at 360° within the video. The narration and the logbook are enhanced with interactive maps and photographs to trace the sailboat's route.

An award-winning documentary and cross-media project that informs on and promotes the power of creative resistance and civil disobedience around the globe. Of extensive reach, the work combines film, digital and social media into a multi-faceted hybrid that reflects the diverse non-violent methods used in combatting violent systems of governing. The three-part project consists of a web platform, which brings together all kinds of struggles around the world and shares the creative and non-violent methods and tactics used, via videos, articles, manuals, user comments; a documentary for television and theatrical release, which focuses on activists around the world; and interactive tools. With the help of videos, timelines and geological maps, the project reports on a century of natural disasters and hydrogeological risks in Italy, and it proposes solutions to save the land and its cultural heritage.

Seedversity

A journey into biodiversity, in six parts of the world, six different climates, six different agricultural zones: West Africa, Ethiopia, Iran, Russia, Italy, France.
This is an inquiry into the origins of seeds and the importance of genetic biodiversity, to preserve food sovereignty and identity, to ensure autonomy from the international markets, to encourage the sustainable development of natural resources. Moreover, farming based on the use of local seeds prevents recourse to chemical products and damage to the earth.

Abandoned train lines
A four-part web series that takes the viewer on a tour of abandoned train lines that cross Italy, from Calabria to the Langhe area, from the Tyrrhenian coast to the Adriatic. Following the rusted railways and deserted stations, the stories highlight the dire consequences of shutting down smaller train lines in favour of long-distance, rapid ones: the loss of a rich heritage, waste of money and resources --- with a rise in road transportation (and pollution) and hardship for travelers --- and for by-passed towns, now forced into anonymity, the destruction of their lifelines into urban areas.
