Documentary realised for the exhibit “Le Monde enchanté de Jacques Demy”, held at the Cinémathèque Française in Paris (10 April to 4 August 2013).

Via a "free consultation" and a "guided tour" the work explores the marvellous world of Jacques Demy's Donkey Skin with unpublished documents, film extracts and interviews with collaborators. [eb-hj]

Produced on the occasion of the World Day against the Death Penalty, the report contains interviews with four personalities engaged against the death penalty (Robert Badinter, Jane Birkin, Bruno Podalydès, Richard Sédillot) and a look at the situation in four countries: Lebanon, Benin, Morocco, Mongolia. ATHENS, A GREEK TRAGEDY

One year after the elections of June 2012, a report on the realities of life in the Greek capital still reeling from the crisis.

As an exploration of life in Athens, eight subjects are proposed: commitment, work, family life, daily life, migration, education, religion and art.

THE BRUSSELS BUSINESS ONLINE --- Faites entendre votre voix

The Brussels Business Online (TBBO) is an interactive and participative platform that allows you to get directly involved in the business of the European Union: each week between 5 February and 5 April 2013 a different controversial issue was debated (bank recapitalisation, transparency register, biofuels, etc.) in the Parliament and among internauts. The website no longer accepts votes and comments, but you can still surf through the site to read and view the content regarding the eight debates held. [eb-hj]

LA MEMORIA E LA FERITA

The workers of the Officine Grandi Riparazioni in Bologna repaired and refitted train cars from all over Italy, exposing themselves to asbestos when removing it from train cars. Hundreds of people have died and continue to die in a silent massacre. Their stories are kept alive in the small museum created by one of the train yard employees. [eb - hj]

While on a visit to a virtual city we meet real young people who speak about their future job aspirations, and we learn about the challenges they face in choosing a profession that is adapted to their personalities, interests, etc. A participatory project in which users can upload their own video materials. The largely artistic project is divided in two phases: the first — where insomniac internauts can give their testimonials through sounds, images and texts — will serve as a base for the second interactive experience which will draw up a complete and intimate portrait of chronic insomniacs. The aim of the webdocumentary (which will be enriched with additional contributions until 1 May 2013) is to provide a more thorough, and less Westernised, vision of Iraq, its rich history, its uncertain future, its people, its arts, the devastating consequences of the war. [hj-eb]
