Hydrogeological instability

An historical journey through Italy shows the areas that have been damaged the most from flooding, earthquakes, landslides and avalanches.
With the help of videos, timelines and geological maps, the project reports on a century of natural disasters and hydrogeological risks in Italy, and it proposes solutions to save the land and its cultural heritage.

Conceived by the group of independent journalists of Next New Media Srl and realised with the Associazione Nazionale dei Costruttori Edili (National Association of Building Constructors), the Consiglio Nazionale Architetti Pianificatori Paesaggisti e Conservatori (National Council of Architects, Planners, Landscape Architects, and Conservators), the National Council of Geologists and Legambiente.
