The Space, a collaboration between the Arts Council and BBC, is a free digital arts service on computer, tablet, smartphone and connected TV at thespace.org or Freeview HD channel 117.
The Space is a platform for delivering digital arts to audiences on a range of devices, using open standards and widely available technologies as broadly as possible.

Milestone content platform (web, TV, book), was created in 2008. The cross-media platform is based on topographical landmarks, from aerial photography and satellite images, displays of data and information, and maps. Richly detailed with 108 documentation videos, graphics and text, it allows in-depth exploration. The site precedes the launch of the television program.
