Young people between the ages of 11 and 15 can relive the historic mission of Chris Hadfield, the first Canadian to walk in space and to command the International Space Station, and marvel at the wonders of space exploration and space sciences.
This interactive learning experience consists of videos and quizzes centred around the Canadian space mission to the ISS. New modules will cover such subjects as robotics, geology and astronomy. A section for educators is also provided.
As of September 2013 the streaming service CAMPUS will provide a guide for teachers. [hj-eb]

THE TRIP

The Trip tells the story of Jack Torrance and his experience as the film director who participated in one of the greatest mystifications of the 20th century: the landing on the moon.

 

Jack Torrance recounts “The Project,” which resulted in the film of the landing on the moon in 1969. Was there really a trip to the moon? Or was it staged in a Hollywood studio?

Jack Torrance, you may recall, is also the name of the protagonist in Kubrick's The Shining. [eb-hj]
