We got the idea for the project because we were frustrated with how propositions are usually covered. It’s not so much that coverage is lacking, it’s more that it tends to be super drab and short of the multimedia storytelling potential of the Interwebs. Self-interested millionaires, corporations, unions, and politicians typically use what was supposed to be a way citizens could create laws for their own benefit.

DISPUTED WATERS / LA GUERRE DE L'EAU - FLEUVES EN CONFLIT
Disputed Waters is a multimedia project bringing together journalists, photographers and videographers to explore stories about transboundary rivers. The contributors trace the stories of rivers where water risks becoming a source of conflict due to climate change and the increasing world population.
To produce their in-depth journalistic reports they try to finance their trips through ‘crowdfunding’.
